The Algonquin Club, the exclusive on-site clubhouse for use by the residents of Ridgeway by the Lake, is now open to the delight of all. Ridgeway by the Lake residents, who have been holding regular parties and other social functions at nearby restaurants and at each other’s homes are now holding their social functions in the spacious, exclusive club house. With over 9,000 sq. ft., the club’s Great Hall will accommodate social gatherings such as live summer concerts and New Year’s Eve gala parties. The Great Hall opens onto a patio and covered verandah that will be the focal point for summer barbecues and other outdoor functions.
Other areas in this fabulous facility include the Algonquin Room, an intimate, multi-use room ideal for family events, a library or a place to sit in quiet contemplation. A billiards room has two tables capable of accommodating billiards, pool and snooker tournaments. A spacious arts and crafts facility is the ideal place for the residents’ creativity to blossom with sculpture, pottery and an array of other crafts.
Among the most exciting facilities is the 1,000 sq. ft. fitness room, which offers both strength and aerobic training facilities, as well as yoga and pilates. Off the fitness room are men’s and ladies’ change rooms with private showers, each with its own sauna. The change rooms are handy to the exit doors that lead out to the saltwater pool nestled into an opulently landscaped enclave.
Recently the residents of Ridgeway by the Lake held a celebration to mark the opening of the club house, featuring a BBQ luncheon where all the community’s residents were able to get together in the same place for the first time. |
